A Busy Christmas Break!
One of my all-time favorite memories from the break was having a girls' weekend with my best friend, Lily, from school. Although we only had a couple of days together, we made the most of every moment. A few of my favorite moments from that weekend were when we had a mini photoshoot out in the freezing cold, got our nails done, and went rollerskating with one of Lily's cousins. We also somehow managed to both lose our phones while out shopping and getting dinner. Lucky for us, we finally found them after about 10 minutes of searching (mine was on the ground underneath my car while hers was left at a table in a restaurant).
Overall, the break was definitely needed as it allowed me to take time for myself and relax after surviving the fall semester. However, I am now glad to be back on campus and finish the rest of my undergrad and graduate in the spring!
I couldn't agree more. That break was the best thing. One of my best friends got covid over break so we didn't get to meet up, so hopefully next break I can see him.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like such a wonderful way to go about winter break -- spending time with family and friends. I am so glad you were able to relax and have fun at home. Good luck with the the semester!
ReplyDeleteWow, it seems like you had a very eventful break! I'm glad you got to spend so much time with your friend, I really only got to see my friends at work sadly. Also, I looove Grey's Anatomy too!
